‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers disclose that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is finally carving out her own path and wants to gain some life experience.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Holden Has Breathed New Life Into Claire

This version of Claire will be much more interesting than she has been with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). The writers truly backed Claire into a corner when she found redemption.

She had become a meek, lackluster character, but now she seemed to have found her own power. Claire’s flirty friendship with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) has added a spark to her personality.

Some fans gave Kyle a pass after he kissed Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in France. However, Claire has drawn a bold line at Kyle’s behavior and decided to go to Los Angeles with Holden.

Claire deserves a fun adventure, and Holden seems eager to help provide that for her. It will be interesting to see a new Claire emerge as she makes her own choices and learns to trust her instincts.

We watched Claire get drunk for the first time with Holden, and while we don’t recommend overdoing it all the time, it’s a first that Claire needed to experience to see what it was like for herself.

Holden and Claire were great fun to watch as they drank numerous vespers between them, and Claire told off Audra.

Holden breathes new life into Claire, which is a welcome change. While Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) were a bit skeptical about Claire’s choice of traveling companion, we applauded her.

Claire spent most of her life being raised by her evil aunt, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk). Jordan brainwashed her and controlled her. She needs more life experience before she tries to settle down again.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Is Acting Immature And Unaccepting Of Claire’s Decision

Kyle’s shocking lack of understanding towards Claire proves that he’s somewhat immature, insecure, and intimidated by Claire’s newfound outlook on life.

Yet, Claire seems like a much spicier character with Holden. She’s more open-minded when she’s around him. He was there to console Claire when her father, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), passed away while Kyle was in Nice, playing sucky face with Audra.

We know that Kyle claims he was trying to entrap Audra, but there were other ways he could have done that without it impacting his relationship with Claire.

Spoilers suggest that Claire and Holden may encounter trouble while in LA. We predict that the pair will be involved in the Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) mystery. Noah wants to open a new branch of his club in LA, following his success in London.

However, Noah will be surrounded by danger, and we suspect somehow Claire and Holden will get roped into the mix.

Upon hearing that Claire was going to LA with Holden, Victoria and Nikki decided to have Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) check on Claire during their trip, as they were headed there to see Noah.

We hope that Claire will stand her ground and not rush back into anything with Kyle. We’re loving this stronger side of Claire, but anticipate that if Kyle has anything to say about it, it won’t last.
