The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, October 6, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will plan an LA trip to win Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) back while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) faces a flight without Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

At Crimson Lights, Nick will tell Sharon to fly to Los Angeles without him since he’ll have to stay behind for the meeting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) called.

However, Nick will assure Sharon that he’ll be in LA tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

Sharon will be glad about that since she’ll feel like something’s going on with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and that he’s looking for more than just advice about his new club.

At the Newman ranch, Victor will tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about his plan to blast the widow scandal involving Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) and how Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) started Arabesque across all media platforms.

Victoria will worry about Victor exacerbating the threat, but he’ll think he knows what he’s doing.

As for Victor’s alliance with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll admit he only wants Jack to think they’re teaming up.

Nick will arrive and get updates on Victor’s plan as well, so Victor will want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be ready to do his part after he gets back from his trip with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Nick will also want the IT team to look for any abnormalities since they need to stay on guard when it comes to Cane’s threat of using the AI software.

Whether it’s real or not, Victor will predict they’ll find out soon enough and will reflect on how long Cane’s been plotting.

“But he doesn’t know what he’s up against,” Victor will warn on Monday’s Y&R episode.

At Jabot, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will discuss the risks of his alliance with Victor, but he’ll do his best to reassure her.

Talk will eventually turn to Kyle and Claire, so Diane will be surprised when Jack points out their son is in a situation of his own making.

Despite Diane’s sympathy, Jack will be a little more willing to acknowledge that Kyle screwed up and that he’ll have to fix it – if that’s even possible.

In the park, Kyle will cross paths with Audra again, so they’ll have another heated showdown.

Since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is the only one left to take pity on Audra, Kyle will wonder what she’s even still doing in Genoa City.

Kyle will offer to fly Audra on the Jabot jet and take her anywhere she wants to go as long as it’s one way!

Audra will balk at that idea and argue that if anyone should be leaving town, it’s rich and spoiled Kyle. Nevertheless, Kyle will make it clear that the gloves are off when it comes to going after Audra.

Kyle will plan to make good on his threats and will suggest that Audra had better disappear before someone does it for her.

Audra won’t seem scared and will push Kyle’s buttons about Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) seducing Claire out in Los Angeles.

Once Audra heads to the coffeehouse, Sharon will mention her own LA trip to see Noah.

Sharon will also gloat to Audra about how well Noah’s doing and how happy he is with Allie Ngyuen (Kelsey Wang).

By the time Kyle makes it to Jabot, he’ll surprise Jack and Diane with a brand-new attitude.

Kyle will be ready to fight and will announce that he’s going to Los Angeles, where he’ll plan to do whatever it takes to win Claire back.
