The Young and the Restless Friday, October 3 Recap: Cane Tells Jill the Sad Truth – Billy Finds Victor & Jack Plotting
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, October 3, reveals that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will tell Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) the sad truth while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) finds Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) plotting.

At the park overlook, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will admit he saw another side of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and that he’s struggling to get past the nastiness of her behavior.
Audra will insist she’s changed and that she’s not the same person she was a month ago.
Nate won’t be sure he believes that and will imply that he’d always be waiting for her to screw up again.
Even if Audra has changed, Nate will insist he’s changed too and that he can’t go back to who he was before with her.
After Nate walks away, Audra will cry even harder and call Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with updates on how it all went down.
Once Nate reconvenes with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and tells her what happened, she’ll sense that he’s struggling because part of him wants to forgive Audra.
Amy will give Nate a nudge back in Audra’s direction since she made him smile.

On Cane’s train, Billy will tell Jill Abbott (Jes Walton) about Cane’s AI software and all the destruction he’s been plotting for the key players in Genoa City.
Jill will try to take a step toward peace with Billy, but he’ll go on another Chancellor rant and will seem skeptical that she’ll turn her back on Cane the way she did with him.
After Billy storms out, Jill will fret to Cane about how lost Billy is.
Once Jill admits she’s afraid of losing Cane too, she’ll wonder if there’s any truth to all the accusations about his cruel agenda.
Cane will downplay those accusations at first, but he’ll eventually let his walls down with Jill.
That’ll lead to Jill realizing Cane is lonely, but she won’t want him to pursue more power at the expense of another chance with his family.
However, Cane will confess to being torn since sometimes he feels he should’ve stayed at the chateau or gone somewhere else; other times Cane feels rage and wants to take what others have denied him.
Cane will admit he doesn’t know who he is anymore.
It’ll leave Cane wondering if he’s Cane Ashby, Aristotle Dumas, his father’s son or perhaps the worst parts of all three.
Cane will get teary and consider if he just wants to burn it all down.
Jill will ultimately pull Cane into an emotional embrace on Friday’s Y&R episode as she tries to comfort him.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack will argue with Victor, who’ll insist on meeting with Jill together.
Victor will also have concerns about unreliable Billy and push Jack to acknowledge that he does as well.
When Billy walks in, he’ll grill Jack and Victor about what’s going on.
Jack will argue that it’s a necessary alliance, so Billy will seemingly get on board and wonder what the plan is.
Victor won’t want to discuss the details in front of Billy, who’ll mention his conversation with Jill and the fact that she sought Cane out first thing.
Billy will also reveal that he told Jill all about Cane’s AI plot, but that her focus was on her disappointment in Billy instead.
Victor will decide that instead of meeting Jill with Jack, they should divide and conquer.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Victor’s team effort will come with some curveballs, so don’t miss all the risky news ahead.
