The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Bryton James (Devon Winters) is ending his marriage, so there’s some real-life divorce drama to report for Devon’s portrayer.

TMZ scored some court documents that show Bryton filed for divorce on October 13 in Los Angeles, so he’s ready to officially split from Jahaira James and is citing irreconcilable differences.

This news comes less than a year after Bryton and Jahaira got hitched since their wedding happened in March.

However, there were signs of trouble soon after Jahaira and Bryton’s nuptials since their separation came in June.

Bryton and Jahaira don’t have any kids together, so that’ll make things less complicated as they head down different paths.

As for what Bryton James is requesting, he doesn’t want spousal support for either one of them and is asking Jahaira to take back her former name following the divorce’s finalization.

This isn’t Bryton’s first divorce rodeo since he said “I do” with Ashley Leisinger back in 2011 before they legally ended the marriage in 2014.

Some fans might remember Bryton James from his days of playing Ritchie Crawford on Family Matters, but Y&R viewers know him best as Devon Winters.

Devon is happily married to Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) as far as anyone knows, but there are hints about some relationship problems on the horizon for him, too!

Abby and Devon’s romance could hit a big snag thanks to a new storyline that’s coming up.

Devon will be tested in some surprising ways in the weeks ahead and will find his family at risk soon enough.
