Ronnie Finally Gets An Emotional Apology From Tracy as Erika Slezak Makes Her Exit – News
We couldn’t have loved the last scenes (hopefully just for now) between Erika Slezak and Jane Elliot on the Thursday, November 6 episode of General Hospital. In story, Tracy, after having Ronnie, and the rest of the Quartermaine family thrown out of the house she has now inherited from Monica, knows she has to suck it up and make a proper apology to Ronnie, or her family won’t come back.
After summoning Ronnie to the mansion, Tracy tries to fake her way through an apology. Ronnie is aware that Tracy’s family won’t move back in until she apologizes to her, so she tells Tracy to get this over with. Tracy strikes out the first time, telling Ronnie she’s sorry if her reaction to Ronnie’s deception upset her. Ronnie fires back, “Apology not accepted!”

Now done with Tracy, Ronnie says she really grew fond of Monica’s family and doesn’t want to deprive them of their home, so she’ll just tell them that Tracy apologized. Tracy smugly says she did nothing wrong, and did nothing that wasn’t warranted. Now upset, Ronnie says that Tracy judged her from the second they met and that it was clear she thought Ronnie was less than.
Next, Ronnie is seen arriving at Bobbie’s where the Q’s, Michael (Rory Gibson), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), Ned (Wally Kurth) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) are, as Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is taking their order. She tells the family, she’s on her way home. But, she just came from Tracy’s house, where something happened. When we come back from commercial break, Tracy is seen opening the door at the mansion. Michael, Olivia, Ned and Brook Lynn apologize for doubting her when she clearly knew and suspected that something was wrong with Monica’s will. Ronnie told them that she worked things out and righted that ship. Ned announces they’d all like to come back. Tracy welcomes them in a tearful family hug.
Erika Slezak’s final scene during her short-term guest run winds up to be with Giovanni Mazza. In the scene, Ronnie tells Gio she came to Port Charles to find her sister and she found a family along the way. Before she heads to the airport, she gives Gio a piece of advice that he will should to his parents, Dante and Brook Lynn. Gio decides since his shift is ending, he would like to give Ronnie a lift to the airport and they walk out arm and arm.
As the six-time Daytime Emmy winner exits, General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini told TV Insider, “We thoroughly loved having Erika here and the door is open for her to return.” And as we previously reported, Erika Slezak said she would also be open to a return also down the line. So, let’s hope story and timing align, and Erika can have an encore run on the
