HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Lewis gets a very unexpected friend in Emmerdale after suffering panic attack
Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) is like the capybara of Emmerdale – able to make friends with absolutely everyone, even crocodiles lurking in murky waters.
He’s somehow cracked ice queen Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) who even seems to be quite fond of him, despite him worming his way into her beloved business.
The fact he’s driven up profits hasn’t hurt, but still. Lewis has a talent for thawing even the coldest of hearts. But Lewis’ new bestie will come as an even bigger surprise.
He’s just moved into Dale View with Ross (Michael Parr), and Vinny (Bradley Johnson), so the British version of the House of Trouser (RIP, Neighbours) decides it’s only fitting to host a housewarming party.

Kammy suggests a party
Lewis is anxious about this but agrees anyway. He’s been open about his neurodivergence and how too many people and too much noise can be triggers for him, but his housemates aren’t overly considerate of this.
As the party gets underway, Lewis is left trying to manage his anxiety, calming himself down by giving himself something to focus on in the form of managing the drinks.
After a while the partygoers decide to head over to the Woolie, much to Lewis’ relief. But he’s left stressed, overwhelmed, and now has a house to clean.

Kev (Chris Coghill) returns to the house to collect a forgotten jacket – having left earlier after making a show of himself trying to do drunk karaoke to impress Robert (Ryan Hawley). The pair connect as Kev manages to sooth some of Lewis’ overwhelm.
And there blossoms the unexpected friendship. The man who threatened Aaron he’d be digging his own grave is making a mate out of the anxious local café owner. What does this new friendship mean?
But once alone, Lewis succumbs to his overwhelm and ends up in the throes of a nasty panic attack. Will new pal Kev come back to save him?
