The General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 29, 2026, focus on Jason, who once again plays the hero. Meanwhile, his bestie Carly gets a win. And a duo shares a first kiss. Who could this duo be? Any guesses?

It’s no surprise that Jason (Steve Burton) chooses to play hero on Thursday. This is what he does. He has a goal in sight. He knows Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is in major trouble — it could be Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and Marco (Adrian Anchondo). Or it could be the snowstorm. Or all of the above. But this is his time to ride in and be the one who rescues.

The GH weekly video preview shows Jason and Britt — she looks really cold. And he looks really worried about her. Hopefully, Britt will actually appreciate what Jason’s doing for her this week. And while they’re at it, she needs to come clean about everything. Unburden herself so they can be on the same page. And maybe her current trauma will be lessened with Jason on her side.

A Winner

While Jason plays hero, the weekly spoilers reveal that Carly (Laura Wright) gets a win. Currently, she’s harboring a fugitive. She’s letting Jack (Chris McKenna, who pushes back on claims that Jack is playing Carly) think that she is happy with him. And she’s at odds with her brother.

This could mean the win involves her plan to bring down Brennan. Or her and Lucas (Van Hansis) have a breakthrough. Things haven’t been great between them lately. They are at odds over his moving into Wyndemere with Marco. Maybe there’s a thawing of their relationship.
