Dylan (Fred Kettle) made his debut on the ITV soap last year in a special episode focused on April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) after she ran away from home and lived on the streets.
Completely vulnerable and pregnant, April ended up befriending Dylan who took April under their wing, especially when they found out she was pregnant.

April eventually returned home and Dylan followed suit, with him settling into the village in a bid to turn his life around. However, in the last past months, Dylan and April have been trapped in the dodgy world of drug dealing.
At first, it was just Dylan working for dangerous dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). However, soon enough, April was lured into the dodgy industry and took on jobs for Ray after he decided she could be useful.

Things then took a shocking turn when it was revealed that the boss in charge is Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) who is Ray’s mum.
This week though, April and Dylan decided to make a run for it with some of Ray’s cash. However, Ray found out and blackmailed the pair into coming back. If they didn’t show up he would harm April’s family, including brother Leo (Harvey Rogerson).

Soon enough, Ray arrived to pick up April and Dylan, but instructed only Dylan to get in his car. Before driving off with Dylan, Ray warned April that if she Dylan to be safe, she must do whatever her client asks, in which she agreed.
And in Thursday’s episode (October 30) April was still none the wiser as to where Dylan was, despite asking both Ray and Celia. After spending the morning looking for Dylan, April was then forced to meet a client.
At his house, April was introduced to a younger man, much to her surprise. However, things took a shocking turn when the man forced himself on April, only for her to hit him over the head with a bottle of vodka, seemingly killing him.
But now, with all the drama going down, fans are certain they have rumbled Dylan’s whereabouts. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “They wouldn’t have killed Dylan would they?”
Someone else chimed in: “Maybe? There’s some shocking twist coming soon isn’t there,” referring to Marlon Dingle actor Mark Charnock recently confirming that there is a shock twist in the upcoming April and Marlon special episode – with Mark revealing “it really threw me”.

Meanwhile a third soap fan mused: “Probably keeping him hostage and torturing him.” A fourth also declared: “Poor Dylan! I want this storyline over with!!”
