Charity’s baby lies ‘exposed’ in Emmerdale as Ross takes drastic action

Charity’s (Emma Atkins) plan to pass the baby off as Sarah’s (Katie Hill) would be almost perfect if it weren’t for one snag – Ross (Mike Parr).
When Charity seemingly lost the implanted embryo for which she would be surrogate, but miraculously fell pregnant anyway, no one seemed to raise an eyebrow. No one except Ross.
That’s because Ross had slept with Charity and her sudden pregnancy announcement came at a very suspicious timing.
Ross knew immediately it was his baby.
Charity tried to fob him off with a doctored DNA result, but deep down he has always known the truth, and he’s determined to out it, one way or another.
Mack (Lawrence Robb) has been playing a dangerous game without even realising it, taunting Ross by pitting him against Kev (Chris Coghill) and calling him a rubbish dad.
Ross is on the verge of exploding and blurting the truth at Mack, but he’s biting his tongue to play the long game.
His plan is to befriend Mack before shattering his world. Charity is nauseated to realise Ross is worming his way into her family’s life with one particular focus of turning foe Mack into a friend. Mack has no idea what’s going on.

Ross’ end game is to get the truth, and he’s not at all far off.
Charity freaks out when after a couple of drinks, Mack confesses that he and Ross are now so close, they tell each other everything.
