Emmerdale star celebrates new era and thanks legend for making it happen

Emmerdale star Bradley Riches has marked the beginning of a brand new chapter for on-screen counterpart Lewis Barton, who has moved in with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

Lewis, as viewers know, rocked up in the eponymous village earlier this year as the long-lost brother of show favourite Ross, who had only just discovered that he had a secret sibling.

Their relationship got off to a rocky start, mainly due to the fact that Ross was holding back the truth about how their mum Emma died.

Long-time fans of the ITV soap will recall that Emma, who claimed the lives of son Finn and ex James, was pushed to her death by Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), with Ross helping in covering up her secret.

When Lewis unearthed this deadly truth, he threatened to go to the police, with Ross stepping in to defend Moira as he explained just how manipulative and evil Emma was.

Eventually, Lewis and Ross put their differences aside, with the former buying into the local village cafe so that he could be near his newfound brother.

It didn’t take long for the pair to bond, with Lewis even trying his hand at matchmaking Ross with former flame Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay)!

And an exciting new chapter beckons for the two siblings, with Ross and Lewis now having moved in together at Dale View, one of the local village properties owned by Emmerdale royalty Kim Tate (Claire King).

Vinny, meanwhile, will also be living in the house, meaning that we might just be on the cusp of another iconic Emmerdale trio.

To mark this new era, star Bradley Riches took to social media to share a number of photos with co-stars Michael Parr and Bradley Johnson, who play Ross and Vinny respectively, in their new home.

‘Some may call Dale View a “Lad pad”- I call it Lewis’s Lounge of Luxury,’ he wrote in the caption. ‘Thanks Kim Tate’.

Bradley Johnson was quick to comment, writing: ‘The best housemates’, to which Mike responded by saying ‘let the bromance begin’.
