‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Christel Khalil, who plays Lily Winters on Y&R, is pregnant with baby number three!

‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Khailil Is Expecting, But Lily Is Not!

Soap Opera Digest reported yesterday that she and her husband, Sam Restagno, are expecting. The actress is already a mother of two sons.

To be clear, Khalil is pregnant, but her character, Lily, is not. Fans saw she had a cute baby bump as she and her Y&R castmates were shown in a fun Halloween video dancing to Michael Jackson’s classic 80s hit, “Thriller.”

Khalil is a very private person and didn’t announce her pregnancy until later the past two times she was with child.

Her journey into motherhood started in 2010 when she welcomed her first child, Michael, from her previous relationship with Stephen Hensely.

In the summer of 2018, she started dating her now husband, Sam. In June 2023, she revealed that she was expecting her second child, Remy, her first with her new husband.

The couple was married in October 2024 at the beautiful Masseria Grieco resort in Italy. She admitted to Soap Opera Digest long ago that she believed he was the one.

Fans have been delighted to see Christel balance working on the soap while raising a young family. Fans could recognize the wardrobe clues that Khalil was pregnant.

She hasn’t formally announced that she’s expecting, but proudly showed off her baby bump in the Halloween dance video, prompting much speculation.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Khalil Will Take Maternity Leave In The Coming Weeks

Lily may go off somewhere when Khalil’s pregnancy progresses into the later stages.

Khailil will obviously need to take maternity leave at some point within the coming weeks. We can see Lily being sick of Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) shenanigans and leaving Genoa City to cool her head.

We can also see her going on a trip with Charlie and Mattie. It’s anybody’s guess how the soap plans to handle Khalil’s real-life miracle when the time comes.

While Khail is primarily a private person, she later shared the news of her second pregnancy with fans.

After a trip to Monaco, she proudly displayed her baby bump in a video montage of her overseas adventures, which she posted on Instagram.

In the montage, she cradled her stomach and looked stunning in a colorful sun dress, but didn’t admit she was pregnant. She captioned the video, writing, “That’s a wrap on Monaco! Thank you for a great trip!”

She continued, “Loved being there with this A team! Lots of laughs, blisters on our feet, and ate enough croissants to supply a bakery. See you next time.”

In November, she posted a snap of herself with her belly showing and said, “Getting closer to meeting our baby boy.”

When speaking about her romance, she exclaimed, “We went out on our first date two weeks (after meeting at the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival in 2016) and had so much fun together. About six months later, I knew he was the one.”
