The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Roger Howarth’s New Character A Villain – Here’s What We Know

Deadline announced he was headed to the land of Genoa City back in August, and added reports reveal that the actor started filming in mid-September.

As the daytime drama shoots several weeks ahead of broadcast, it won’t be long until Howarth appears on canvas. Still, the show has been hush-hush about the character he’ll be playing, so will Howarth be a hero, or will he be a baddie?

The L.A. Storyline

During the week of October 13-17, two other soap vets debuted, and are tangled up in the Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) ‘Los Angeles’ storyline. Noah was in a car crash that seemed intentional, and his parents, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), are very worried about his condition.

In the mix of this all, Detective Burrow, played by Matt Cohen appeared during the Thursday, October 16 episode (spoiler alert – he’s not a real detective), and Tamara Braun’s Sienna Bacall, who debuted during the Tuesday, October 14 episode, recently called Noah’s phone, and Nick answered.

In another interesting twist, Sienna has a connection to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), and at the very least “knows of” Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Burrows spoke to someone during the Friday, October 17 episode, presumably his “boss”, who could be Howarth’s character, and revealed he isn’t really a cop, as he made Nick and Sharon believe, what’s really going on here?

Howarth Is Playing A Baddie!

Out of all the new cast members debuting, Howarth is the final one lingering (other than Noah Newman’s Lucas Adams, but his airdate has been confirmed for Tuesday, November 4).

It’s hard not to think that the person Burrow was talking to during Friday’s show was Howarth’s character, so he’ll likely be a bonefide villain!

There’s also a good chance he could still be playing the Tucker McCall recast, and Tucker has gotten himself mixed up in some shady business in Los Angeles! Tucker teeters from villain to hero at times, so it’ll be interesting to see if Howarth plays for #TeamGoodGuy or #TeamBaddie!
