When is Emmerdale on again as it’s dropped from ITV schedules?

Bad news if you’re an Emmerdale fan, as the ITV soap won’t be airing this evening.
We know, what a way to start your Thursday.
Despite the summer of sport being long gone, soaps occasionally fall victim to a schedule change as a result of other matches.
This time, it’s football.
To prevent confusion, here’s everything you need to know about Emmerdale’s schedule for the rest of this week.
Why isn’t Emmerdale on tonight?
A friendly match between England and Wales means Emmerdale is being booted off the schedule for tonight. The kick off is at 7:45pm, with coverage expected to end at 10pm.
When is Emmerdale back on?
Fortunately, you don’t have long to wait for the show to return, as Emmerdale will air again on Friday, October 10 at 7:30pm.
What has happened in Emmerdale this week?

One storyline that’s taken centre stage this week has been Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) pregnancy.
After receiving test results that confirmed Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is the father of her baby, Charity panicked over what to do next.
She was found by Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who simply took one look at Charity and realised something was wrong.
Charity confessed, and Chas said that she needed to tell everyone the truth. Charity knew in her heart that Chas was right, but when she once again witnessed Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) expressing her excitement towards becoming a mum, she just couldn’t bring herself to break her granddaughter’s heart.
Instead, she booked an appointment for an abortion. Tuesday’s episode allowed us to discover that Charity never went through with it, and it left Chas under the impression that she’d soon be preparing herself to tell Sarah the truth.

Charity made it clear to Chas in that moment that she absolutely wouldn’t be doing that. She said that she would come up with an alternate plan, because Sarah can never find out the reality.
Charity’s cover-up story saw her create a fake DNA test document, which allowed Ross to believe that he isn’t the father.
With Ross now quiet, Charity fully intends to go along with the pregnancy, allowing Sarah and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) to believe they are going to become parents.
Elsewhere, Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) continued to push April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) away from her family.

While in the cafe, Celia got talking to Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw). Things were a bit awkward as a few days prior, Bob attempted to flirt with Celia but she turned him down.
Celia offered some advice regarding April and then told Bob that she’d buy him a coffee. To Bob, this was a sign that Celia might be interested in him after all.
To Celia, it absolutely wasn’t.
Just before the episode ended, Celia confirmed to adopted son Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) that she intends to use April’s granddad to her advantage, as they continue to force the youngster to take part in jobs within their drugs ring.
