‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Wednesday, October 8 will see some admissions and manipulations as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seeks to destroy all.

Victor will give Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) his best effort as he’ll tell her how Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)’s fortune is built on a con.

He’ll try to convince her to get Cane’s AI so he can destroy it, but she’ll guess he wants it to destroy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

He’ll admit it to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) after Jill leaves. We doubt Nikki will stay silent on this, unless Victor buys her another company to run.

Meanwhile, Jack will pay Cane a visit and rip into him about manipulating Billy. They’ll debate it and Jack feels Billy can be redeemed.

Cane will cite Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) as being redeemed, but he has doubt Billy can be, despite Billy and Cane being so alike.

A Freudian slip?

 

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Jill will guess Victor’s intent with the AI. We are surprised that she’ll still seem to trust him and want to see his proof of Colin’s con.

She’ll go to see Cane and talk to him, about what is going to be interesting to see. We really hope she doesn’t try to talk him into giving Victor his AI, assuming it actually exists.

That’s still open for debate as we’re thinking it’s more about allowing Victor to gamble and cause his own downfall.

The x-factor is Nikki. She won’t want Victor to attack Jack and chances are she’ll tell Jack his plans.

But she could also stand with Victor and trust Jack to defend himself.

After all, she likes Victor buying her loyalty with jewels and companies. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, right?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 8: Jack tries his luck with Cane

While Victor is making his best effort as an evil moustache twisting bad guy, Jack will try to be the hero.

It’s the usual way this pair works. Instead of wanting to use the AI for his own gain, Jack will ask Cane to let him destroy it.

Cane will decline, and they’ll get into how Cane used and manipulated Billy. Cane will deny doing that, citing it was Billy being Billy and they’re too much alike to work together.

Jack won’t buy it and feel Billy can be redeemed. Cane will disagree, but this feels like it could be Jack talking to the good guy Cane is.
